About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to be a part of our growing Core Platform Engineering team! Your objective will be to design, implement, and scale systems to manage the millions of monthly subscriptions, orders, and payments. The solutions you deliver will have to accommodate current BFA’s brands’ domestic distributed operation as well as future international operations in a multitenant way.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Implementing features on a multitenant microservice platform in Java utilizing Spring Boot
  • Enhancing systems to process millions of orders in a short period of time
  • Assist in design and architecture decisions for the systems
  • Work in a collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Worked diligently coding in Java 
  • A creative and precise problem solver
  • A strong knowledge of Spring or other similar inversion of control frameworks
  • Passionately worked on and driven large scale projects to completion
  • Familiar with third-party backend API integrations
  • Familiar with databases: schema design, queries, performance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Bonus if You Have
  • Knowledge or experience of e-commerce systems, payment gateways, or order management systems is highly desirable
  • Experience scaling large web applications and maintaining high availability services
  • Experience with AWS
